FEATURE: cbsi, Bank of America Share Military Appreciation Day
Ken Kraetzer of CBSI attended the New York Yankees Military Appreciation Day ceremony at Yankee Stadium on July 23, 2016. One of the guests was retired US Navy aviator and career officer, Jeff Cathey, now the Senior Military Affairs Executive for Bank of America based in Tampa, FL. In a talk with Ken, Capt. Cathey described the commitment that BofA has made to hire 10,000 veterans over the coming years, then presented the Yankees Hal Steinbrenner with a $50,000 check to be donated to the Special Warrior Operations Foundation. This organization funds the college scholarship and other key needs for families who have suffered loss in service of a Special Operations member. Their motto is “Never a Birthday, Graduation or Christmas is ever missed."
